History of Aurora Estate
James Lloyd became the known landowner in this region. He belonged to a group of Quaker families who migrated to Canada during the 1800s. Apart, from being a landowner Lloyd held the role of a father to nine children. His sons were known for their qualities, including integrity. Among them were a Justice of the peace a doctor, a dentist, a politician and even a mounted police officer.
