History of Victoria Manor Markham
Victoria Manor is located on land that used to be a part of the Victoria Square hamlet, to the north. That’s why they named this subdivision after Victoria. The area where houses are now situated used to be farmland. Cecile Nichols was the farmer in this area. He continued farming here until 1974. Ceciles father, Louis built two farmhouses—one for himself and his wife Harriet and another one, for his son, Cecile.
